Field Studies in Fine Arts

Catalog description

A study tour to a selected city in the United States for the purpose of studying various aspects of the fine arts, notably art, photography, and theatre. Tour leaders arrange visits to galleries and theatres. Specific reading assignments are completed before the trip. Students are required to keep a journal of their experiences and submit a final paper, which reflects on those experiences. Offered at least once every other academic year. One semester hour.
