A drawing fundamentals class that is a requirement for the art major but is also appropriate for non-art majors. Emphases include contour, gesture, and a variety of approaches to value in various traditional media. Subject matter includes the human figure, landscape, and still life as well as drawing from the imagination. Offered spring term each year. Three semester hours.
