Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts

Catalog description

This three credit advanced practice course introduces the use of expressive arts in practice with individuals, groups, families, organizations, and communities to respond to trauma and build resiliency and post-traumatic growth. Expressive arts frameworks will be introduced and illuminated through the examination of case studies. Local and global examples of trauma-informed expressive arts approaches will also be introduced.
