This undergraduate course explores the multifaceted dimensions of health and health care, emphasizing the importance of both physical and emotional well-being from a social work perspective. Students will specifically examine the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility, ensuring equitable access to health services for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the course will delve into the complexities of health insurance, providing insights into how coverage impacts access to care.
