Set the Stage for a Career in Music Education or Performance! This FYEX seminar is designed specifically for first-year music majors enrolled in music education or music performance. In addition to covering the content presented in all FYEX courses, we discuss career paths in music education and performance as well as the hard and soft skills necessary to embark on those paths. Topics include: navigating the music education and performance curricula at MU, developing efficient practice techniques and time management skills, cultivating creativity, and preparing for meaningful internships. Credit will only be granted for one FYEX 100 course, regardless of letter or title.
