Each First Year Seminar (FYEX) section features an academic centerpiece (a question, topic, or theme) that will ground the process of intellectual inquiry through a free exchange of ideas during and outside of class. FYEX instructors mentor and assist students in developing meaningful and purposeful goals. Credit will only be granted for one FYEX 100 course, regardless of letter or title.
