FYEX 100: The evolutionary history of the human body The human body is the product of millions of years of evolution. We can trace this history by examining our genes and comparing the arrangement of our bones to those of other animals. This course will explore the evolution of vertebrate anatomy through investigations in paleontology, comparative anatomy and evolutionary developmental biology. In this course, you will: (1) embrace your natural curiosity by exploring state-of-the-art research, (2) discover your passion and career goals in biology and the medical professions, and (3) develop the skills necessary for being successful in college and beyond. Biology and Allied Health majors will be enrolled into this class. Credit will only be granted for one FYEX 100 course, regardless of letter or title.
