Learning by Doing

Catalog description

Engages students in exploring the value of learning through hands-on experiences. Students will use experiential learning to engage with technologies and solve real-life engineering problems. They will also explore some of the challenges of adapting to college and identify campus resources for academic success. Students will be challenged to evaluate learning through active engagement and to reflect on how personal and authentic experiences play a role in their own learning as college students. Credit will only be granted for one FYEX 100 course, regardless of letter or title.
