Each First Year Seminar (FYEX) section features an academic centerpiece (a question, topic, or theme) that will ground the process of intellectual inquiry through a free exchange of ideas during and outside of class. FYEX instructors mentor and assist students in developing a meaningful and purposeful goals. Credit will only be granted for one FYEX 100 course, regardless of letter or title.
