Catalog description

Origin and evolution of the atmosphere; solar and terrestrial radiation; horizontal and vertical structure of the atmosphere; temperature, pressure and water in the air; vertical motion; cloud formation and cloud type; circulation systems, severe weather, climate and climate change. Does not count toward Meteorology major. Credit may not be received for ESSC 107 if ESSC 109 is taken, these are equivalent courses and will be treated as repeated course credit.
