Catalog description

Human sexuality is a 3-credit lecture course that focuses on the nature of human sexuality, particularly as it relates to biological phenomena. Readings, discussions, and/or videos will cover the biology of human reproduction and sexual behavior and will explore the interface between the biological and social aspects of sex and sexuality. Topics such as gender, LGBTQIA sexuality, different types of partnerships, contraception, abortion, pornography, and sexually transmitted infections will be covered. Prereq: BIOL 100 or BIOL 101, ENGL 110, and COMM 100. No credit toward the BIOL major.
