Catalog description

This course explores the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational settings. Participants will examine AI-powered educational tools, analyzing their terms of service, data usage policies, and alignment with legal and ethical standards. The course will also delve into AI’s impact on society, equity, and inclusion, as well as identifying potential missteps and risks. Participants will develop strategies to integrate AI responsibly, ensuring it enhances learning while safeguarding student rights. Participants will also explore the broader societal and environmental impacts of AI, how AI can support human development and the evolving role of AI with a focus on foresight and long-term implications.
