Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the principles of financial literacy and their application to the professional and personal lives of veterinarians. Emphasis is placed on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions throughout one’s career. Topics include budgeting, debt management, student loan repayment strategies, savings and investment planning, insurance, taxes, and retirement preparation. Students will gain the analytical tools and practical understanding needed to evaluate financial options and make sound, evidence-based decisions that support long-term financial well-being. Prerequisites None
