Advanced Clinical Pathology

Catalog description

This elective course is case-based in which students will hone their skills in the interpretation of clinical pathology case data for large and small animals. Students will be expected to interpret case data and integrate their interpretation into relevant pathophysiologic mechanisms of disease, while also identifying additional testing that may aid in confirmation of the suspected diagnosis. This class will require students to think critically and to support their case interpretations with literature from peer-reviewed sources. Prerequisites None
