Clinical Reasoning I

Catalog description

This course is designed to facilitate clinical reasoning development in PT students. Students will be exposed to clinical reasoning terminology and active learning strategies to improve their understanding of clinical reasoning. Content will be supported by current, best evidence in the field of clinical reasoning, and students will apply concepts using case-based learning, simulation-based education, and metacognitive techniques. Lecture material will be supported by labs and case discussions. Prerequisites Permission of Course Director. This course is subject to enrollment restrictions and may not be offered each year.
