Catalog description

This course is designed to facilitate additional didactic and laboratory experiences related to hand therapy practice. Students will be exposed to advanced concepts in pathology, imaging, examination, differential diagnosis, and intervention that will expand their knowledge and skills in this specialty area of practice. Content will be supported by current, best evidence, and students will apply concepts of evidence-based practice to areas of patient-client management. Lecture material will be supported by lab and case discussions. Prerequisites Permission of Course Director. This course is subject to a minimum of 2 and maximum of 20 enrollees and may not be offered each year.
