Catalog description

This course builds on foundational pharmacy law principles to advance students’ regulatory competence. Students examine federal and state requirements governing prescribing, dispensing, controlled substances, recordkeeping, and pharmacy operations. Emphasis is placed on interpreting statutes and regulations, understanding operational and compliance expectations and requirements, and applying legal standards to routine and complex practice situations to support safe, practice-ready performance across diverse pharmacy settings.
