Catalog description

​​This course is the first in a two-course sequence designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to maximize patient and population health outcomes by promoting optimal medication use. Using both lecture and hands-on activities and workshops, the course introduces students to designs, ethical considerations, analytics, and measures of quality for randomized controlled trials (RCTs), which underpin most new drug approvals in the United States.​
