Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive study of the principles of podiatric biomechanics with an emphasis on normal and abnormal structure and function in both open and closed kinetic chain movement. Computer animation, videos, and live demonstrations are used to demonstrate normal gait patterns and the steps of a standard biomechanical examination. Practical labs are held to teach the proper techniques of biomechanical analysis.
