Catalog description

This course introduces concepts on anatomy and physiology related to visual perception and image processing. The functionality of visual performance using dark adaption, color vision, spatial and temporal vision is explained in normal and abnormal conditions. This information is relevant to understanding how the visual system functions with various perception aspects. Students are introduced to the development of vision and abnormal cortical development.
