Thesis Research

Max Credits 10 The program culminates in completion of a research project. Students are required to take one or more credits of Thesis Research beginning spring of the first year. The number of credits taken each quarter will depend on the research project, elective courses, and credits needed to complete degree requirements. Completion of Thesis Research credits may encompass conducting experiments, data analysis, and/or drafting the thesis document. Students may register for up to 10 credits per quarter and a minimum of 28 credit hours is required for the degree. Notes The Thesis Research course sequence replaces the previously required BMMSG 680-689 Laboratory Research and BMMSG 690-697 Research Thesis courses.
