Catalog description
This course helps students begin the necessary preparation for the Capstone Project; an integration summation of learning on a selected topic presented in a poster and manuscript format in the first or second (Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer) quarter of their MAMS Program. The course will focus on critical review of preclinical and clinical literature, research topic selection and the requirements for the Capstone Project. Successful completion of the course requires identifying a healthcare topic with biomedical focus and completion of critical thinking assignments (e.g., annotated bibliographies or other assignment approved by course director). This course can be taken independently or in conjunction with BMAMG 501 Foundations of Research, BMAMG 502, 504 Annotated Bibliography I, III.
