Catalog description

This practicum is the first of three sequential clinical experiences. The objective of this course places an emphasis on screening guidelines across the lifespan of the focused population, the employment of evidence-based practice, history taking and physical examinations, and the incorporation of pharmacology. Principles taught in this course and the co-requisite course will be utilized to provide the contextual framework for the skills considered. Prerequisites APRNG 601: Procedures and Skills for Primary Care (Residency)
