Catalog description

The objective of this course is to prepare students in the professional role as an advanced practice nurse. This course places an emphasis on screening guidelines, history & physical assessments, and the development of the culmination/teaching project. This didactic course is the first of three-consecutive didactic courses. It is scheduled in tandem with the Adult-Gerontology Practicum I. Principles taught in this course and the co-requisite course will be utilized to provide the contextual framework for the skills considered. Prerequisites APRNG 601: Procedures and Skills for Primary Care (Residency)
