Catalog description

An overview of the fundamental principles of the physical and biological sciences as they relate to the field of forensic science. This course focuses on the fole of the forensic scientist in criminal investigations. Scientific principles of crime scene investigation, including the chemistry of blood, physics of blood splatter, DNA, and firearms identification will be covered. Laboratory analysis will include microscopy, atomic absorption and chromatography.
