Catalog description

A cooperative work experience program whereby students are employed in a departmentally approved position in order to gain the practical competency necessary for success in Applied Psychology. Supervision is provided by the College through on-the-job visits and individual progress review sessions. Students must be approved by the department and are required to describe their learning objectives. Day students attend a weekly seminar and work for a total of 180 field experience hours during the semester. DCE students' hours are adjusted to fit the different semester lengths, yet reflect the same total hours.
