Teaching With Technology

Catalog description
A focus on learning technology terminology and how to use digital tools to support meaningful learning in educational classroom settings. Students will use relevant applications, such as Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Draw, along with other educational applications (i.e. Bitmoji) and HTML tools found in PreK-12th grade classrooms. Emphasis is placed on using technology in a developmentally appropriate way to increase learning and student engagement, along with creating meaningful applications of technology in the field of education, such as a classroom webpage, and home-school connection tools. Students will be required to develop multi-media products that are based on best practices in educational technology pedagogy.
