Catalog description

Focuses on issues of what it means to learn and know science and mathematics. Included are topics related to standards of knowing and understanding powerful ideas in mathematics and science, links between knowing and developing in learning theory, and the content and evolution of scientific ideas. Students required to conduct interviews with public school practitioners.
