Examines substance abuse and misuse through biological, psychological, social, and systemic perspectives while emphasizing ethical practice, comprehensive assessment, and evidence-informed approaches to care. Emphasis placed on developing practical skills to engage, support and empower individuals and communities impacted by substance use across a variety of health and social service settings.
