An in-depth study that focuses on the cognitive, academic, social, and emotional characteristics of learners with high and multiple/severe disabilities. Laws and regulations regarding Response to Intervention (RTI) and inclusive practices in the least restrictive environment (LRE) thoroughly discussed; development of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) introduced. Differentiated instruction techniques offered for a variety of classroom settings.
