Statistics and Probability for Teaching

Catalog description

Supports the development of prospective middle grades and secondary teachers’ knowledge of statistics and probability. Examines in greater depth statistics and probability topics to which the student has prior exposure; emphasizes the relevance and implications of these topics to the middle school and secondary classrooms. Attention will be given to exploratory data analysis, probability, statistical association, and simulation-based inference.
