Catalog description

Required of all Mathematics majors seeking a license to teach mathematics in grades 6-12 and all Interdisciplinary Studies (Grades 6-8) Math majors. In-depth study of mathematics learning and teaching strategies in secondary school mathematics. Selected topics provide a foundation for student investigations into the conceptual nature of mathematics and applications in the secondary school curriculum. Must be taken prior to student teaching.
