Supports the development of prospective middle grades teachers’ knowledge of functions and connections between algebra and geometry. Focuses on students connecting mathematics topics as well as the teaching of mathematical topics to middle grades students to support learning about the connected nature of mathematics. Field experience in a nearby middle school incorporated.
