Catalog description

Supports the development of prospective middle grades teachers’ knowledge of discrete mathematics. Topics include set theoretic topics, logic, counting, probability, graph theoretic topics. Focuses on students’ learning discrete mathematics topics as well as the teaching of related mathematical topics to middle grades students. Field experience in a nearby middle school incorporated.
