The role of NC in today’s manufacturing environment; machines and machine control systems of a typical installation. Justifying NC equipment. Emphasis on writing and debugging programs for a three-axis milling machine and a two-axis turning machine utilizing both computer numerical control and computer-aided part programming. For those with little experience or seeking to broaden their knowledge. Two hours lecture and three hours laboratory.
