0) or better; ECE 4320 with grade of C (2.0) or better or may be taken concurrently. Corequisite: ECE 4376 . Study of emergent literacy and literacy concepts, birth through age five. Includes methods of teaching and assessing literacy in a diverse environment. Use of children’s media and literature is addressed. A field placement with young children is required for approximately two hours per week.
