Coaching Methodology

Catalog description

This course presents a theoretical base for coaching in sports for the teaching of sports and the skills used in sports. The course provides development of methods for working with groups and individuals for effective coaching to include development and management of planning and preparation for coaching. The course also provides guidance and encourages development of the student’s coaching philosophy with providing guidance on coaching pedagogy, performance analysis, and feedback.
