This course provides teacher candidates with a deeper understanding of P-5 Social Studies, covering the four core disciplines—government, geography, history, and economics. Emphasis is placed on the importance of each discipline and effective teaching strategies. Candidates will integrate digital media and technology to enhance classroom engagement and apply research-based instructional methods.
