Support for English Composition for International Students

Catalog description

This is a course in grammar, usage, mechanics, rhetorical modes, and their application in writing effective paragraphs and essays. This course is designed for students who, based on placement scores, are eligible for enrollment in both a co-requisite support course and ENGL 1101 . This course is especially geared to help international students whose native language is not English master the content of ENGL 1101 . Satisfactory placement test scores or successful completion of ENGL 0989 is required prior to admission to this course.
