Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms

Catalog description

This course introduces basic data structures and algorithms. Topics include algorithm analysis, Big-O notation, various sorting and searching algorithms, linked lists, stacks and queues, recursion, binary search trees, heaps, hash tables, and graphs. In addition, students will learn how to analyze the complexity of algorithms and choose appropriate algorithms to solve a given software problem.
