Catalog description

This course examines crisis management within victim services, focusing on trauma‑informed, ethical, and culturally responsive intervention. Students learn to assess risk, ensure safety, provide short‑term crisis intervention, and coordinate referrals for individuals affected by violence, loss, and trauma. Emphasis is placed on professional boundaries, interdisciplinary response, and provider self-care.
