Catalog description

This course will be an immersive field course to introduce students to tropical ecology. Students will explore the interactions between organisms and their environment in tropical ecosystems, with a focus on biodiversity, conservation, and human impacts. Through lectures, guided field activities, and ecological monitoring, students will gain a deeper understanding of tropical ecology and develop essential skills in scientific observation and analysis. Corequisite lab course required.
