Aircraft Airframe Structures

Catalog description

This course presents a survey of aircraft airframe structures used in aircraft. Topics include: wood structures, aircraft covering, and aircraft finishes. This course also provides a study of airframe non-metallic structures and allied maintenance procedures. Topics include: welding principles; soldering, brazing, gas-welding, and arc-welding steel; welding aluminum and stainless steel; fabricating tubular structures; soldering stainless steel; and welding titanium and magnesium.
