This course will provide students an understanding of drugs commonly used in a dental office. Topics include prescriptions and drug regulations. indications, contraindications, and adverse reactions proper administration and identification of drug addiction. This course will provide students an introduction to ethics and jurisprudence as it applies to the practice of dentistry. Prerequisites: DENT 1100 , DENT 1110 , DENT 1120 , and DENT 1130 .
