A study of people's cultures worldwide, including the principles behind the various aspects of culture. The course is designed to provide an understanding of cross-cultural problems, which can assist in more effective communication of the Gospel and a better understanding of the person’s culture. SOCI/PSYC 2303 Social Psychology (3 cr.) A study of the nature of the social structures that man has developed and their influences on the functioning of human individuals and groups. Emphasis is given to interactive processes involved in socialization, leadership, attitude formation, motivation, cognition, and self-concept formation. Prerequisites: PSYC 1103 and SOCI 1103. Offered spring semester: even-numbered years.
