Catalog description

This course provides a general introduction to the classical theories of personality in American psychology. It introduces the student to the objectives and challenges of a scientific study of personal life. Emphasis is given to a critical evaluation of personality theories and approaches, including psychodynamic, behavioral, phenomenological, trait, and social learning theories.
