Catalog description

Based on theory and research, this course studies human development from conception through young adulthood. Major theoretical approaches to physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development are examined. In addition, this study would include parent/child, sibling, and other relationships as they relate to developmental processes and stages. Studies are divided into five periods of childhood: prenatal, infancy and toddlerhood, early childhood, middle childhood, and adolescence.
