Catalog description

This course prepares students to evaluate and address health needs at the community and population levels. Emphasizing a public health approach, students will explore the social determinants of health, epidemiology, health promotion, disease prevention, and community-based nursing interventions. Students will perform community assessments and develop evidence-based strategies to promote health equity and improve community outcomes. Practicum Hours: 15
