Catalog description

Prepares nursing students to manage and provide care for patients with complex, multifaceted health conditions. This course focuses on the integration of advanced nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical skills necessary to care for patients with multiple comorbidities, acute illnesses, and chronic conditions that require coordinated care. Through high-fidelity simulations and clinical experiences in high-acuity off-site clinical settings, students will develop the ability to prioritize care, manage complex treatment regimens, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
