This course builds upon concepts introduced in Medical-Surgical Nursing 1 and focuses on the care of patients across the lifespan experiencing acute and chronic health conditions. Emphasis is placed on professional growth, clinical judgment, care coordination, and the management of patients with complex needs in healthcare settings. Students integrate evidence-based practice, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and therapeutic nursing interventions to promote patient safety and quality outcomes. Lab/Sim 27h, Theory 60h, Clinical 64h.
